The QuickTime class allows adding multimedia capabilities to your applications. You just have to drop a QuickTime file to a document window and you are ready. You may resize it as you want and position it wherever necessary or change any other properties in the inspector. Then build the application and you will be able to see the movie in the web-browser.As any other objects, QuickTime objects may be stored for further reuse in the Custom or Global Palettes. Additionally you may create portable class files with embedded movies to be distributed to other BasaOne users. The Quicktime class offers even more than just movie playback. It supports all the media types that can be played by QuickTime. So it is possible to also embed Flash movies, use it to play audio files or build a page to show QuickTime VR panoramas.
